And a few other things I really like too. But here's one of them:
- 2 oz. Vanilla Vodka or Vanilla Rum
- 3/4 oz. Fresh Pressed Lime Juice
- 6 Mint Leaves
- 1/2 oz. Spiced Simple Syrup* (or to taste)
- 1 oz. Mango Puree
Combine all in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a large, chilled cocktail glass. Top with Champagne. I created this one using the new Funkin Puree's. Great product!
* Spiced Simple Syrup - 1 cup Water, 2 cups sugar, 12 whole cloves, 2 whole star anise, 1/8 tsp. ground Saigon cinnamon. Place everything except the sugar in a small saucepan and stir until combined. Bring to a gentle boil over medium high heat then reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Add the sugar and simmer until the sugar is completely dissolved and the syrup has slightly thickened (approx. 2 more minutes). Remove from heat and let cool. Remove the cloves and star anise with a slotted spoon. Transfer the syrup into an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use. Good for approx. 2 weeks.
