Beer, Beer and Beer!

We've got a new bottled beer available at the Walnut Creek Yacht Club Restaurant & Bar, perfect for fall/winter.  The 9.8% alcohol content, subtle chocolate and cherry notes, and larger bottle size will surely warm you up!  I'm talking about 3 Philosophers.  Rich, complex; leads to extended sessions of deep thought and solving all the world's problems. Well, maybe not, but it sure hits the spot on these cold fall nights!  Perfect after dinner, or paired with richer foods.
Also new at the WCYC are these two draft beers:  Floral and food-friendly Pranqster (a Belgian-Style golden ale) and Full Sail's seasonal Wreck The Halls:  From Full Sail's brewer...Wreck The Halls is an annual favorite.  It's a sublime hybrid of an American style IPA and a winter warmer. The result is a bold brew that celebrates the holidays with an intriguing blend of Centennial hops providing elegant citrus notes balanced by a backdrop of a rich caramel malt body. Dry hopped to amplify the aromas and flavor. Available in 22oz. bottles and draught. Gold medal winner at the 2010 World Beer Championships. ABV 6.5% IBU 68

These 3 new beers are now part of an already stellar beer line-up at the WCYC.  Also on tap are Blue Star Wheat, Scrimshaw Pilsner, Anchor Steam, and Drakes IPA.  Stand-out bottled beer selections include Delerium Tremens, Abita Amber, Singha, Red Stripe, St. Fullien, Jerome, Chupacabra, Sunner Kolsch, and Kaliber N/A among several more.

And wines by-the-glass you ask?  Robert Foley's The Griffin, Mario Perelli-Minetti Cabernet Sauvingon, Flowers Chardonnay, Huia Sauvingon Blanc, and a few more gems for your sipping enjoyment.

Come on by the WCYC bar today for some amazing drinks and great food.
