The Hop Toad

Strange name, but hey... it's a good, honest drink.  Simple cocktail, bold rum flavor from the Smith & Cross, subtle apricot notes from the Rothman & Winters Apricot liqueur, with the fresh lemon juice and bitters balancing everything out.  Cheers.

Hop Toad Cocktail
1 1/2 oz. Smith & Cross Rum
3/4 oz. Rothman & Winters Apricot Liqueur
3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice OR 1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
2 Dashes Tiki Bitters
Shake, strain into chilled cocktail glass
Garnish with lemon peel

Do you ever use Persimmons? They're coming into season and I'm wondering what I can do with them.

Persimmons can make for an interesting drink. If you send me an email, I'll send you some recipes.
