Summer Cocktail List: Walnut Creek Yacht Club, Restaurant & Bar

Here's my summer cocktail list at the WCYC in lovely Walnut Creek, California.

Summer Favorites
Flavors of the Summer/Farmers Market Mixology 

Pimms Berry Lane
Muddled strawberry and celery, Pimms liqueur, Hendricks gin, fresh lemon juice, rose flower-infused simple syrup.  Served tall over ice, topped with ginger ale

Rio Fresca
Milagro reposado tequila, fresh grapefruit and lime juices, Aperol, cane syrup, a touch of salt.  Served tall over ice, topped with Prosecco

Admiral's Peppered Melon
Fresh watermelon, house-made green and black peppercron syrup, fresh lemon juice, Right gin.  Served "up" with crushed peppercorn/salt/sugar on half the rim

Summer Thyme
Muddled cucumber and fresh thyme, Hendricks gin, Saint Germain Elderflower liqueur, Grey Goose La Poirre vodka, fresh lemon juice.  Served either tall over ice and topped with Seltzer, or served "up" in a chilled cocktail glass


Sailor's Choice
Rum, Rhum, Pisco and Cachaca Cocktails

Ol' Caribe
Bacardi 8 Year Old rum, barrel-aged bitters, fresh lime juice, cane syrup, fresh mint, Champagne.  Served "up" in a flute

Painkiller
Our special WCYC Painkiller mix (cream of coconut, fresh pineapple, fresh orange and lime, bitters), Cruzan light rum and Pussers navy rum.  Served tall over crushed ice, grated nutmeg & a flamed orange peel on top

Sweet Heat
Batiste rhum blanc, Coruba dark rum, fresh lime juice, house-made habanero-ginger syrup, fresh cilantro, and house-made mango puree.  Served "up"

Caipirinha
The national drink of Brazil.  Cachaca, fresh limes, raw brown sugar.  Served short with ice

Pisco Albaricoque
Encanto pisco, Rothman & Winters apricot liqueur, fresh lime juice, muddled pineapple, cane syrup

Green Chartreuse, Junipero gin, Luzardo maraschino liqueur

Germain Robin brandy, Cointreau orange liqueur, fresh lemon juice

The Green Whisper
Muddled cucumber, fresh lime juice, house-made green peppercorn syrup, La Fee Absinthe, Cap Rock organic gin.  Served with crushed green peppercorns/gray sea salt on the rim

Latin Eyes
Agavales blanco tequila, fresh lime juice, house-made chili-citrus syrup, served with sweet and spicy Picasitos on the rim
