Fernet in a cocktail?

Sure, why not. Here is an actual cocktail for you Fernet fans, so you don't have to do that predictable "Fernet with a ginger back" routine the next time you're in a bar.  Adapted from the recipe found at Employee's Only in New York:

Fernando
1 oz. Fernet Branca
1 1/2 oz. Dolin Blanc Vermouth (it's a sweet--not dry--vermouth, but it is clear)
just over 1/2 oz. Galliano or Strega
Stir until well chilled
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass
Garnish with a large sprig of mint
