Spring Cocktails and New Menu
Home-made carrot syrup with celery bitters, radishes, Cocchi Americano and organic gin? Kumquats, passion fruit puree and Pisco? Dill, cucumber, Mezcal and Prosecco? Are we talking new cocktails for Spring? You betcha! The spring cocktail list at the WCYC should be out in about 10 days. Look for some fun and unique spring flavors in the Spring Mixology section; some new classic cocktails in our Venerables section of the list (gin and rye whiskey will be properly represented), and of course, our popular Sailor's Choice section on the menu featuring cachaca, rum, and rhum agricole cocktails. Look for our tasty 1944 Mai Tai and the hot and spicy (and slightly modified for Spring) Arawack cocktails to remain under Sailor's Choice, with the addition of my award-winning cachaca cocktail, Inspector Espinosa.
Come on in to the Walnut Creek Yacht Club bar to enjoy some of these great Spring cocktails, or sit in the dining room for a wonderful sit-down meal. The WCYC is home to fresh, beautifully prepared seafood, and is also home to some of the best servers in the Bay Area. They're true professionals, which makes for a superb dining experience. We also have a Wine Spectator award-winning wine list and a very eclectic beer list for your imbibing pleasure. And did I mention our awesome happy hour (we call it the Skippers Meeting) from 3pm to 6pm Monday through Saturday.
